We are running bin collections at a reduced capacity. Our crews are working extremely hard; and the welfare and needs of our staff and residents are uppermost in our minds.
We are working closely with partners to reduce the impact of Coronavirus on bin collection services across Stockport, but some changes are needed.
Cllr Sheila Bailey, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Stockport said: “The change in the collection schedule will affect residents but with everyone’s co-operation and patience, the Council and Totally Local Company will be able to maintain a service during this very difficult time. Everyone, I’m sure, will join me in thanking our collection crews and all staff involved in trying to keep the bin wagons rolling!”
